Privacy policy
Last updated: September 4, 2026. This policy explains what strandrestore.com collects, why, for how long, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who is responsible
The data controller for this website is MLJ, SASU, publisher of StrandRestore, registered in Paris under SIREN 934 769 837. The publication director is Jimenez Julien. You can reach a human being about anything in this policy at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com.
What the contact form collects
The only place this website asks you for personal information is the enquiry form on the home page. When you submit it, we receive exactly these fields and nothing else: name (your full name), email (your work email address), company (your studio name), role (your job title, chosen from a list), request (whether you want a demo, early access or a quote), size (how many fitting rooms or locations you run), message (what you type about your current process), and consent (the record that you ticked the consent box). Two hidden fields travel with the submission: a subject line identifying the site, and the recipient address the message is routed to. A honeypot field named bot-field exists only to catch automated spam and is never used to profile a human visitor.
We do not ask for and do not want client health information through this form. Please do not paste a client record, a diagnosis or a physician letter into the message box. If you send one by mistake, tell us and we will delete it.
Legal basis
For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we process the information you submit on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry that you initiated. For visitors in the United States, we process it to provide the information you asked for and to run our business relationship with you. You can withdraw consent at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.
How submissions are handled and stored
Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, which hosts this website and operates its form handling. A copy is delivered by email to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com so that we can reply to you. Access to the submission store is limited to Jimenez Julien and, where a demo is being arranged, to the person preparing it.
We keep enquiry submissions for twenty four months from the date of the last contact between us, so that we can pick up a conversation you started last season. After that they are deleted from the form store and from our mail archive. If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, we do it within thirty days and confirm by email.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising cookies, no third party analytics cookies and no cross site tracking pixels. There is no Google Analytics tag, no advertising network script and no social media tracker on any page. The only requests your browser makes to a third party are for the two Google Fonts stylesheets and font files used for the typography, and for the author portrait hosted on jimenezjulien.eu. Netlify keeps standard server logs, including your IP address and browser user agent, for a short period for security and abuse prevention.
Your rights
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to obtain a copy of it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights. California residents may also ask us to disclose the categories of personal information collected and the purposes for which it is used. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for automated profiling or targeted advertising, so there is no opt out to operate for those activities. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, and we may ask that agent for proof of authorization.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability, plus the right to withdraw consent at any time and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In France that authority is the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertes.
How to exercise your rights
Send one email to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com describing what you want. We answer within thirty days, and we will tell you before that deadline if a request is complex enough to need longer. There is no charge for a reasonable request. We may need to confirm that you are the person who submitted the form, and we do that by replying to the email address in the submission rather than by asking for identity documents.
Children
StrandRestore is a business product sold to studio owners, and this website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen years of age. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, write to us and we will delete it promptly.
International transfers
MLJ, SASU is established in France, and our hosting and form processing take place in the United States with Netlify, Inc. Where personal information moves from the European Economic Area to the United States, that transfer relies on the European Commission standard contractual clauses incorporated into our agreement with Netlify, together with the technical measures described above, including encryption in transit. If you would like details of those safeguards, ask and we will send them.
Security and changes
This site is served over HTTPS only, submissions travel encrypted, and administrative access requires multi factor authentication. No system is perfect: if a breach affects information you sent us, we will notify you and the competent authority as required by law. When this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page and, for a material change, we say so on the home page for thirty days.
